Ian McCambridge Tupper embraced the concepts of leadership, education and social responsibility. Ian lead by example, living by the governing principles of Sigma Nu as a member in the fraternity as well as a student at Philadelphia University. The IMTSF Board will look for similar traits in the recipient of this scholarship.
Currently, the scholarship is open to all Sigma Nu brothers in the Philadelphia region, as well as students at Philadelphia University. Below is a list of the criteria for the Scholarship:
Criteria/Requirements:
› This scholarship will be awarded to the student who best demonstrates a complete understanding of our founding principles–of love, honor, and truth–as this scholarship is Ian’s lasting memorial, it is important to remember that those who apply will be judged by these principles.

› at least 2 separate references (examples):
• A member of a local chapter
• A non-relative
• A faculty member
› college transcript
› an essay of your choice
